Few things I remember about Sanwo-Olu’s administration is his indifference about the Lekki Massacre that took place during one of Nigeria’s most historical youth-inspired political events.
Sanwo-Olu’s inheritance of Lagos State Government from his former bosses Akinwumi Ambode (2015-2019) and most importantly from “I am still Lagos Governor”, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who recommended him to their Lagos-ruling party, APC.
Only, Ambode and his immediate boss, Babatunde R. Fashola paved Lagos for economic development from all Lagos State Governors since 1999 (Nigeria’s return to democracy).
